Ten persons have tested positive to Ebola in Nigeria.

As part of continued measures to stem the spread of the Ebola Virus Disease, the Federal Government of Nigeria  has said by next month, nine Testing Centres would be established across the nation, for the diagnosis of the virus .

Below are the guidelines from American Centre for Disease Control and the World Health Organisation on Ebolaa.

a.The suspected reservoirs for Ebola are fruit bats

b. Transmission to humans is thought to originate from infected bats or primates that have become infected by bats.

c.   Undercooked infected bat and primate (bush) meat transmits the virus to humans.
